You create a payment link in **Online payments → Payment links → New**. Set the amount, currency, and an optional expiry date, and Fynex gives you a shareable link to a hosted payment page. Send it by email or paste it anywhere — your customer pays without you writing any code.

## Create a link

1. Go to **Online payments → Payment links** and choose **New**.
2. Enter the **amount** and pick the **currency**. If your account is set to a single currency, links use that currency automatically.
3. Optionally set an **expiry date** — after it passes, the link stops accepting payments.
4. Save. Your link is live immediately, on a page like `pay.fynex.ai/p/…`.

## Send it

- **By email** — send the link straight from Fynex; the customer gets a branded email with the pay button.
- **As a link** — copy it into a message, invoice, or chat.
- **On your site or as a QR code** — see [How do I add a payment link to my website or send it as a QR code?](/docs/accepting-payments/how-do-i-add-a-payment-link-to-my-website-or-send-it-as-a-qr-code/)

## Link statuses

- **Active** — open and accepting payment.
- **Paid** — the customer has paid. (Reusable links keep accepting payments; single-use links close after the first.)
- **Expired** — the expiry date passed.
- **Cancelled** — you cancelled it before it was paid.
