You invite teammates from the **Users** section and assign each one **permissions** that decide what they can see and do. Permissions are granular — you can let someone view payments and payouts, for example, without letting them create a payout — so people get exactly the access their role needs.

## Invite someone

1. Go to **Users** and add a team member with their email.
2. Set their **permissions** — grouped by area (payments, payouts, split rules, users, and so on), each with read and, where relevant, create/update/delete.
3. Save. They get access to the parts of the dashboard their permissions allow.

## How permissions work

- Each area has its own permissions — for example, *view payouts* is separate from *create payouts*, and *approve* a payout requires a second factor regardless of role.
- An **admin** has full access to everything.
- Someone only sees the dashboard sections their permissions cover. If a teammate says a page is missing, it's usually a permission — see [Why can't I see certain pages in my dashboard?](/docs/account-and-team/why-cant-i-see-certain-pages-in-my-dashboard/)

## A safe default

Give people the least access that lets them do their job, and reserve payout creation and approval for the few who need it. Anyone approving payouts should set up a [second factor](/docs/account-and-team/how-do-i-set-up-two-factor-authentication-or-a-passkey/).
