You go live once your **business verification is approved**. Approval switches your account from test mode to live, and you can start taking real payments and paying out. There's no separate "go live" button to hunt for — verification is the switch.

## If you're approved but can't take a live payment

Once in a while everything's approved but a live payment won't go through. The usual causes:

- **No live payment method is active yet.** Your account needs a live processing setup before it can route real card payments. If you see an error about no active live terminal, [contact support](/docs/account-and-team/how-do-i-contact-fynex-support/) — this is set up on our side.
- **You're still in test mode.** Check you've switched out of test and are using real card details, not test ones.
- **Currency mismatch.** The payment currency needs a matching live setup. Contact support if a specific currency won't process.

## Before you send your first real link

Run a quick [test payment](/docs/getting-started/how-do-i-test-payments-before-going-live/) first if you haven't — it's the fastest way to confirm the whole flow works before a real customer uses it.
