A **failed** payout is different from a pending one: the money didn't leave, and it's back in your available balance. You can fix the cause and try again. The reason is shown on the payout, and it's usually the bank rejecting it, a funding problem, or something about the payout itself — an unapproved account, an unsupported currency, or not enough balance.

## Bank-side failures

- **"The bank rejected the payout."** The receiving bank declined it — often wrong or closed account details. Check the account and try again.
- **"The payout could not be funded."** A funding step didn't complete. Try again; if it repeats, [contact support](/docs/account-and-team/how-do-i-contact-fynex-support/).
- **"The payout was reversed by the bank."** The bank sent the money back after it was submitted. Confirm the destination details before retrying.
- **"The payout could not be processed."** A general processing failure at the bank. Retry, and contact support if it persists.

## Things to check on your side

- **Not enough available balance** — the wallet needs enough cleared balance in the payout currency.
