Payment link

A payment link is a shareable URL that opens a ready-to-pay checkout — no code, no invoice software — so you get paid by pasting it into an email or chat.

A payment link is a hosted checkout behind a single URL: you set an amount (or let the payer enter one), share the link, and the customer pays on a page you never had to build.

How it works

  • You create a link with an amount, currency, and description.
  • The payer opens it and pays by card or, where available, pay by bank.
  • The gateway handles the details securely and the payment settles to you.

Unlike a full checkout integration, there’s nothing to develop — the link is the checkout, so it works in an email, an invoice, a DM, or a QR code.

Why it matters

For services businesses and platforms billing ad hoc, the gap between “work done” and “money in” is often just friction — a clunky invoice, a bank transfer that never comes. A link the client can tap and pay closes that gap and gets you paid days sooner.

How Fynex does it

Fynex sends branded payment links as part of invoicing, with recurring billing and multi-currency built in — and every payment reconciles back to your books automatically, so you’re not matching receipts by hand. See invoicing and collections.
