What you get
What Fynex does with monday.com
Fynex reads from monday.com and writes back when the money moves.
Every item is a job
Fynex reads the board you chose and treats each item as a job — the thing a payment, a payout or an invoice belongs to.
Changes arrive by webhook
Rename a job, change its amount, move it — monday.com tells Fynex within seconds, signed, so the two never drift.
Status written back
When the customer pays or the contractor is paid out, the item's status column changes on the board, where the team is already looking.
Moves and creates items
A paid job moves to Done; a new payout can create the item it belongs to. Every write is logged with what changed and why.
How to connect
Connect it in three steps
Done once, from the dashboard, by whoever owns the account.
1
Approve Fynex
OAuth — you sign in to monday.com and approve Fynex for your workspace.
2
Choose the board that holds the work
Fynex lists what your account can see; pick the board that holds the work. One choice per connection, changeable later.
3
Let it run
monday.com sends Fynex a signed webhook when an item changes; a scheduled resync catches the rest.
Reads and writes
What Fynex reads, and what it writes
Read from monday.com: items on the board you chose, with their columns and groups.
Written to monday.com: update a column value (a status, an amount, a date), move an item to another group and create an item. Each write is logged with what changed and why.

How the connection is held
The same three rules on every connection Fynex makes.
OAuth, never a password
You approve Fynex inside the provider's own sign-in. Fynex holds an access token, not your credentials, and you can revoke it from either side.
Tokens encrypted at rest
Every connection token is stored encrypted (AES-256-GCM) with a key that never leaves the Fynex environment. One connection per business per provider.
Every write is logged
Where Fynex writes back, the write is recorded with what changed and why — only after the underlying event actually happened, never speculatively.

Three actions, each logged: update a column value such as a status, move an item to another group, and create an item. Fynex writes only when something has actually happened to the money.
It writes on the rules you set — for example, move the item to Paid when the invoice is paid. Every write is recorded with what changed and why, and you can turn the writes off and keep the reads.
