How long does business verification take?
The submission takes a few minutes. Review usually takes 1–2 business days, and we notify you when it's done.
Submitting your business verification takes a few minutes. After you submit, it usually takes 1–2 business days to review. You’ll see an Under review status while we check everything, and we’ll notify you as soon as the review is complete.
What each status means
- Under review — your documents are in. Nothing more is needed from you right now; we’ll email you when there’s an update.
- Approved — your business is verified and you can process live payments. You’re done.
- Rejected — something needs fixing. See Why was my verification rejected for what to do next.
Why it sometimes takes longer
Most reviews land inside a couple of business days. A review can take longer if a document is unclear and needs to be re-checked, or if we need to confirm a detail about an owner or director. If yours has been in Under review noticeably longer than that, contact support and we’ll check where it is.
What you can do while you wait
Verification doesn’t block you from setting up. In test mode you can create payment links, build split rules, and run test payments, so you’re ready to go the moment you’re approved.
