Why was my verification rejected — and what can I do?
Most rejections can be fixed and resubmitted — a Try again button appears when you can retry. Fix the flagged issue (usually a document photo or a detail mismatch) and submit again.
Most rejections are fixable. When your verification can be resubmitted, the dashboard shows a Try again button — fix the issue that was flagged and submit again. A rejection usually means a document couldn’t be read or a detail didn’t match, not that your business was turned down.
Common reasons and how to fix them
- Unclear or cut-off document photo — retake it with the whole document in frame and in focus.
- Expired ID — use a current, in-date document.
- Details don’t match — the name, address, or company details on your documents should match what you entered at sign-up. Correct whichever is out of date and resubmit.
- A missing owner or director — everyone who owns or controls the business needs to be included and verified.
When there’s no “Try again”
Some outcomes are final and can’t be resubmitted from the dashboard. If you don’t see a Try again button, or you’ve fixed the obvious issues and it’s still rejected, contact support. We can tell you exactly what the review flagged and what your options are.
