What is a settlement statement and how do I read it?
A settlement statement summarises the payments settled over a period — gross taken, fees deducted, and net paid to you — per currency, with every payment listed. You can download it as a CSV.
A settlement statement shows the payments that settled over a period and reconciles the money: gross taken, the fees deducted, and the net amount that’s yours. It’s grouped per currency and lists every payment, so you can tie your payouts back to the sales behind them. Statements default to the previous calendar month and can be downloaded as a CSV.
What’s on it
- Per-currency summary — number of payments, gross amount, provider fees, platform fees, and net amount.
- Per-payment rows — each settled payment with its order reference, amount, the fees applied, and the net.
- Reconciliation status — each row is marked settled cleanly or flagged as a discrepancy to look into.
How to use it
- Match your bank — the net total is what reaches you; use it to reconcile a payout against your bank statement.
- Check fees — the fee columns show exactly what was deducted from each payment.
- Export — download the CSV for your accountant or to import into your books.
